Welcome
HTSHFF 2006 25-28th June 2006 at Cathays Park, Cardiff, UK

Previous HTSHFF Conferences

The event is the ninth in a series of bi-annual specialist symposia devoted to microwave properties and applications of high temperature superconductors (HTS). The first meeting was held in 1990 in Williamsburg (USA), and has been followed by meetings in Santa Fe (USA), Cologne (Germany), Asilomar (USA), Stockholm (Sweden), Capri (Italy), Cape Cod (USA) and Girona (Catalonia, Spain). Attendees were from industrial, government and academic research organisations.

Aims of HTSHFF
The aim of the symposium is to bring together distinguished researchers involved in the study of high temperature superconducting materials and devices at microwave frequencies, and provide a relaxed atmosphere to promote discussion and exchanges between academic, government and industrial researchers. The meeting place is chosen to fulfill this aim by keeping participants together with a minimum of outside distractions in pleasent surroundings.

2006 Symposium, Cardiff, UK
The venue for the 2006 Symposium is Cardiff, UK. The programme will include plenary invited talks and contributed posters. The proceedings of the Symposium will be published in a special issue of the Journal of Superconductivity.
